Meet the owners
Erica Mayfield
Erica has worked in the catering and hospitality business off and on for over ten years. She has worked as a School Counselor and Teacher for most of her career. Twenty years ago, Erica worked as a private chef, catering mostly to private dinner parties and corporate events, with the occasional small wedding. All of this while working full-time as a teacher and mother of two young daughters. She decided to stop catering and focus on her educational career and raising her daughters. Her journey into the wedding industry began as a favor for a family member who could not find a caterer or a wedding coordinator. From the response of the venue owners and the guests, she felt that she had something to offer that needed to be offered in this area. She began catering for the love of feeding others, which soon grew into a full-time job. Erica is also a certified wedding planner and designer and loves everything about weddings.
Phillip Mayfield
Phillip has worked in many different fields throughout his life. From Sports Medicine to President and COO of several different companies, the service of others has always been the foundation. He has spent much of his free time supporting his wife’s passion of cooking by learning the art of grilling and smoking to a level beyond back-yard cookouts. He has volunteered as a Grill Master assistant with several well thought of BBQ establishments to learn different techniques and secrets. Through this he has developed his own style of BBQ and grilling and is still improving on those techniques daily. Phillip is an ordained wedding officiant and will be able to officiate weddings when needed. He is currently working toward his Sommelier certification.
